Noelia and Paulina allowed Emma and I to film and photograph the bookbinding process as they worked in the Caballos workshop, an art studio run by printmaker Paola. Noelia was stitching sheets of paper into sections, which were then flattened in a press. Paulina then sewed the sections into the body of the book which would later be covered with cardboard and patterned paper.
Both of the girls had studied fine art 'Arte Plasticós' at uni and had learned their bookbinding techniques at another studio in Valparaíso.
