Lovely Mili has been my point of contact with the art residency Zona Imaginaria over the last few months since my initial application to them all the way back in London until meeting her and founder Lucre on my flying visit to their studio in La Tigre, Buenos Aires. Having studied Art History, Mili is now working running the administration of ZI, a job that has her in regular contact with artists all over the world, and as a singer is dreaming of one day having her own rock band.
Glass fragments that Lucre and Mili have been working on at Zona Imaginaria, created from heated and smashed bottles that are then arranged to appear deceptively soft and invitingly grass-like.
